Points and Ranks
So you want to be a Shinobi and prove your worth as one of the most powerful individuals not only in your village, but in the entire ninja world! First things first you need to know how things work around here and the first step to understanding that comes from these terms; CTP, JTP, SKP and SP. Now what these mean are simply as follows Character Training Points (Experience Points) Jutsu Training Points, Skill Points and Stat Points. These point systems are what define how far you have come as a Shinobi, how much experience you have, how close are you to learning or mastering a jutsu and what skills you have as well as how good you are at it.
CTP Character Training Points
These points are effectively the experience that your character has gathered throughout their life as a Shinobi. You're able to gain CTP through various types of threads such as missions, training and pvps. These points are what determine what level or rank as a Shinobi you are along with how close you may be to achieving the next ranking. For example in order for a Genin to be nominated to participate in the Chunnin Exams one must first acquire a certain amount of CTP. This doesn't necessarily mean that a Chunnin will always have more CTP than a Genin because while reaching a certain point allows you to partake in events to reach the next rank it doesn't guarantee the ranking will be acquired. Regardless CTP can continue to be built up allowing one to always gain experience.
JTP Jutsu Training Points
Jutsu Training Points are exactly that points that you gain in the same way as any other that are used in order to learn jutsu. These points also are used to not only learn jutsu though, but also Elemental Affinities, Kekkei Genkei and master each of them. Not everything costs the same however because to put it simply the higher the rank of a jutsu the more JTP it takes to learn and master. Not only that, but certain Jutsu and Kekkei Genkei can cost different amounts of JTP depending on how difficult they are to learn. How well you pick up a jutsu depends on both the ranking of the jutsu and your own rank as a Shinobi.
Each Shinobi rank correlates with specific jutsu ranks and how easily they can be learned. Genin being the lowest ranking as a Shinobi are able to learn E and D rank jutsu easily enough reaching the level of Capable in the usage right from the start bypassing the Learned phase. However, C rank jutsu are where things get harder. Genin are the equivalent of C rank while the higher ranks progress in the same manner. Chunnin are the equivalent of B, Jounin to A rank and all higher ranks correlate to S rank jutsu.
Rank E: 20 JTP
Rank D: 40 JTP
Rank C: 80 JTP
Rank B: 200 JTP
Rank A: 500 JTP
Rank S: 2000 JTP
